Monticello: The Home of Thomas Jefferson
Mary and I went to Virgina in March 2002, two months after buying a Canon PowerShot G2. The little "prosumer" digicam performed very well at Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Monticello, seen here. Unfortunately, I had not yet taken the time learn about RAW conversion, so the whole trip was shot in - gasp - JPEG. The post-processing limits of in-camera JPEG became apparent upon the return home, and I quickly became a RAW convert.
