Nefertiti joined our family in December 2008 as a refugee from a neighborhood house fire. Known as 'Momma Cat' by her owners at the time, she was found hiding in the first floor of the home after the fire had been put out. Her three kittens had been rescued earlier from the second floor by firefighters, and were later adopted by neighbors.

Now finished with her contribution to the animal kingdom, this affectionate girl is enjoying a life of comfort and security.
